Our Approach

Full Height Shutter
Full height shutters are best fitted with a 4 sided frame/panels can have a dividing rail (midrail) or a split in the mechanism allowing the upper louvers to operate seperately.
Full height shutters have the added benefit of retaining heat in the colder months and reducing glare on sunny days.

Track Shutters
Suitable for French, Patio & Bifold doors.
These would need to have a midrail, to add structural strength due to the height of the doors, attached to tracks at the top and bottom.

Shaped Shutters
Arches, circles or triangles.
Shutters can be made to fit the majority of shapes and be incorporated as part of a larger window design.

Cafe Style Shutters
Also called half height shutters, these shutters only cover the lower part of the window, allowing privacy with maximum light at the top.
For bedrooms, we would recommend an additional window covering for the top section to ensure darkness.

Tier on Tier
A design option allowing the upper panels to move and open separately from the lower panels.
We recommend for this style, that the windows are taller than they are wider, to maximise the benefit of the design.
Four-sided frames are also recomended for this design

Along with the various shutter options you also have the following choices:
- Louver sizes - 63mm and 76mm are the most popular but others are available
